What's New on FlipMantis

Recent platform upgrades across Driving for Dollars, the unified inbox, AI calling, and the contact workflow.

FlipMantis is no longer just capturing leads. It now helps you work them.

D4D rebuilt into a real field workflow

Driving for Dollars used to be a list of saved pins. Now it's a queue that tells you what to do with every lead and lets you do it in one tap.

Action buckets on the leads list

Every lead lands in one of seven clear states — Confirm Address, Analyzing, Review, Skip Trace, Contact, Follow Up, Deal. The chip at the top tells you what is waiting. The button on the row does the thing.

  • Needs Address Confirmation → Confirm Address
  • Ready to Review → Run Analysis
  • Needs Skip Trace → Skip Trace Owner
  • Ready to Contact → View Contact / Direct Mail
  • Follow Up → View Follow-Up
  • Deal Created → View Deal

Address confirmation protects your data

When the GPS guess could be more than one house, we hold the lead until you confirm. Owner and property data only attach to the right parcel.

  • Heading-aware address detection during capture
  • Saved candidates, Keep current, or map pick
  • No enrichment runs until the address is confirmed
  • After the drive: re-pick the right house from a map

Skip trace cost discipline

Skip trace refuses to run on duplicates, unconfirmed addresses, or properties without intel. Low-score leads only run with explicit approval. Every credit you spend is on a real candidate.

  • No skip trace on duplicate rows
  • No skip trace on unconfirmed addresses
  • No skip trace before property analysis returns
  • Low-score leads require one-tap approval

One-tap property analysis

Tap Run Analysis on any confirmed lead. The property moves into the analyze queue without three menus and a detour.

  • Won't double-charge if analysis is already in flight
  • Lead visibly moves from Review to Analyzing
  • Detail page picks up the result when ready

Offline-safe field capture

The field has weak signal. The app doesn't care. Capture in a dead zone and everything syncs when you reconnect.

  • Leads, photos, voice notes, and tags save locally
  • Pending sync indicator on the drive screen
  • No lost data, no duplicate uploads
  • Tenant-bound replay so captures land on the right account

Photos, voice notes, and written notes attach reliably

Property photos save, sync, and display in-app. Voice notes attach to the right lead and store cleanly. Typed notes during capture stay with the lead.

  • Photo chip on the leads list when a property has photos
  • Voice chip when a voice note is attached
  • Note chip when there is capture context

Direct Mail surfaced from D4D

Ready-to-Contact leads expose Direct Mail as a contact channel from mobile. The mail flow continues on the web with the owner pre-selected.

  • New contact channel option on every contact-ready lead
  • Label adapts to whether owner data is on file
  • Lands on the existing web mail flow for the actual send
See direct mail

Duplicate recapture handled cleanly

Drive past the same house twice? The second save is flagged as a duplicate and never burns enrichment or skip trace credit. The canonical lead stays clean.

  • Duplicates hidden from the default leads view
  • No enrichment, no skip trace, no double conversion paths
  • Re-capture without breaking your pipeline

Route history, sync status, and clearer permission prompts

Review past drives and the leads captured along each route. See exactly what is saved locally vs. synced. Permission denials guide you to settings instead of failing silently.

  • Route history MVP — points and captured leads per drive
  • Sync status bar with pending counts
  • Location, camera, and microphone prompts surface settings deep links

AI voice agent, smarter inbox, sharper contact actions

A wave of work on the conversation layer — outbound AI calling, inbound reply parsing, in-app SMS composition, and a tightened contact workflow.

AI voice agent for outbound calls

Dispatch a voice agent to call a lead. The agent runs the conversation, captures the outcome, and writes it back to the contact record. You review the call, the transcript, and the next step.

  • Brand-aware agent configuration per tenant
  • Recordings + transcripts attached to the contact
  • Outcome categorization (interested, callback, voicemail, not interested, do-not-call, etc.)
  • Automatic follow-up creation when the call says one is needed
Try AI calling

AI Call Outcome routes leads automatically

When an AI call surfaces a new lead — or matches an existing one — the system routes it the right way. No duplicate leads, no orphan calls.

  • Auto-match against existing leads by address or phone
  • Auto-create a new lead row when there is no match
  • Cross-channel dedupe so an SMS-then-call sequence stays on one record

AI reply drafts in the inbox

When a contact replies, the inbox drafts a response in your voice. Edit and send, or send as-is. The draft references the conversation history and the lead context.

  • Drafts ground on the actual thread
  • Per-tenant cost budget so drafts respect your plan
  • Drafts attach as the proposed next message in the unified inbox

Inbound email parsing into the unified inbox

Replies to platform-sent emails route back into the inbox as threaded messages. No more checking a separate inbox.

  • Reply-To tokenization keeps threads attached to the right contact
  • Quoted-text stripping so the new message is what you read
  • Email and SMS threads sit side by side in one inbox

In-app SMS composer from contact detail

Open a contact, tap SMS, write the message, send. No bouncing into the native messages app, no losing the conversation.

  • Composer surfaces from the contact detail page
  • Threaded inbox automatically picks up the send
  • Compliance and DNC checks run before send

Contact detail action wiring

Every primary action on a contact record now does what it says — call, SMS, email, log activity, schedule follow-up, link to a deal, view timeline, run skip trace, send mail. Nine buttons, seven modals, all working end to end.

  • Each action is one tap and runs in place
  • Activity log captures whatever happened
  • Skip trace and mail respect the same cost discipline as the rest of the funnel

Inbox channel clarity

Email subject lines surface in the thread list. Channel badges tell you whether a message was a call, SMS, email, or mail. Overrides let you read whichever channel matters for that contact.

  • Subject-line preview on email threads
  • Channel badges on every thread row
  • Per-contact channel preferences honored

Unified inbox foundation

A series of foundational fixes that turned the inbox from a half-wired surface into a real communications hub. SMS, email, and calls all land in the same threaded view.

Outbound SMS threads per contact

Sending an SMS now opens or extends a per-contact thread. The next reply attaches to the same thread. No more orphan messages.

  • One thread per contact across all channels
  • Outbound and inbound aligned to the same conversation
  • Per-tenant phone numbers honored on send

Outbound email into the inbox

Platform-sent email rides through the same inbox as SMS. Threads track replies via tokenized Reply-To addresses.

  • Reply-To tokenization for deterministic threading
  • Inbound parser writes the reply onto the right thread
  • Bounce and failure events log against the contact

Calls and voicemails project into the inbox

Inbound calls and voicemails appear in the same threaded inbox as messages. Listen, read the transcript, and reply in the same view.

  • Voicemail audio and transcript attached to the thread
  • Missed call events surfaced with one-tap callback
  • Call recordings link from the thread to the timeline
See call recording

Welcome thread on every new account

New accounts open with a guided thread that walks through capture, contact, and convert. No more landing on an empty inbox with no context.

  • First-run thread anchored on common D4D goals
  • Replies route to support without leaving the app
  • Dormant after the user starts real work
